我们要组织一次绘画春游。不过,所有平常在画室里的绘画材料工具都不能带噢,也不能在路上购买。等我们到了目的地(urban space),可以自行寻找需要的材料:比如纸袋、垃圾、收据…当然啦,想带上装材料的袋子还是可以的。在城市里我们有一个半到两个小时的时间观察环境,收集材料,构思创作。接下来,我们也会在一起讨论分享关于“画出”感知的话题,记录,和调查。回到工作室后,大家可以向自己的同伴展示自己的作品。

绘画可以是汲取信息、洞察环境、记录的方法;绘画也可以用于交流,认知,帮助理解自己的经历和思想。

叙述与展览

我们要办自己的展览。首先,请带一张人物照片(不出名的,比如一位陌生人或者家人),照片上的人要看起来像是有有趣的生活的;除了照片以外,也请你带三件物品。对于物品,我们没有特别的要求。 策展正式开始了。现在你要和其他几位参与者组成一个策展小组,选择一张人物照片,并且围绕着这个人物,展开想象TA的故事。你会有两个小时的时间,你可以当场制作一些物品来说明这个人物的人生,当然不要忘了用上带过来的那三件物品噢。接下来策展人们就要考虑下面的问题了:

  1. 我们要讲个什么样的故事呢?
  2. 什么会成为展品呢?
  3. 你还需要搜集或者制造其他物品和照片吗?
  4. 你要展示全部物品,还是只想展示一部分?
  5. 你要怎么展示呢?
  6. 这个展览的一切会被怎么理解呢?展品的标签和介绍应该怎么写呢?需要导览吗?

确定以上的问题后,策展人们就可以继续策展了。你们可以继续制作、寻找物品,在网上搜索这个人物的历史生平,给展品写介绍。最后,别忘了要制作展览中的展台噢。

人工传真机

将大家分成4-6人的小组,每个组都会拿到一件可以发出声音的普通物件(勺子,玻璃,铃铛…)。利用这个物件,组内开始创造声音编码来交流传递信息,并用纸笔将编码信息记下来。第一个版本的编码创造出来后,每个组分成两个部分——“编码者”和“破码者”,并且两个部分隔离开来,相互都看不到,只凭借受众的编码纸信息和声音交流。

在两端编码者和破码者此时需要测试声音编码,编码者要将一条画在纸上的线(视觉信息)通过声音翻译给破码者。随后根据这个经验,组内完善这套编码,并反思:

  • 这些编码与所提供的物件合适吗?
  • 有什么地方是行不通的?
  • 利用这个编码系统,对角线、曲线、不规则图形等等可以翻译吗?
  • 如果编码者在编码时出错怎么办?如果破码者在破码时出错怎么办?
  • 如果在这个过程中需要澄清、停止、从头开始怎么办?
  • 该怎么处理"传真"过程中的噪音?

现在挑战来了。编码者会看到一个从未见过的图像,然后用完善过后的编码系统传递信息,而在另一头看不到图像的破码者,则要根据声音将图像画出来。传输完成后,组内讨论完善,再进行新图像的传输。

活动结束后,可以反思编码系统是怎样一步步发展完善的,每个组的编码系统类型有什么异同,有什么特别困难的地方……
